Manuel joined the Firm in February 2019. In the corporate commercial department, he oversees all legal matters for national and international companies. Among recent transactions, it is noteworthy to mention that played a leadership role in the design and implementation of the first infrastructure project in Paraguay under the Public-Private Partnership modality, with approximate investment of USD 540 million. Furthermore, he offered counsel to prominent multinational companies (such as Millicom Group), as well as national companies, with regards to economic mergers and filing complaints of anti-competitive practices before the National Commission of Competition (CONACOM); to Lukoil in various government tenders for oil purchasing; to the International Financial Corporation with regards to financing for a local Bank, worth USD 30 000 000; to Noble Group (currently COFCO Group International) in the acquisition of assets worth USD 20 000 000 in the agribusiness sector; to the Spanish company Ufinet Telecom SAU in the acquisition of assets worth USD 10 000 000.
