CONACOM AUTHORIZES THE PURCHASE OF STOCK BROKERAGE HOUSE BY GRUPO ITAÚ

The Board of the National Commission of Competence (CONACOM) has recently decided to authorize the operation of economic concentration comprising the acquisition of the assets of VERBANK SECURITIES CASA DE BOLSA S.A. by the companies controlled by Grupo Itaú in Paraguay: ITB HOLDING BRASIL PARTICIPAÇOES LTDA. and ITAU CONSULTANCY OF VALUES MOBILIÁRIOS and PARTICIPAÇOES S.A.

BKM | Berkemeyer advised Grupo Itaú in the notice of the referred operation of concentration, that implies the launching of Grupo Itaú in the stock market.
