Some days ago the National Administration of Electricity (hereinafter “ANDE”) published the call to International Public Bid N° 1684/2022 for the construction of the transmission line of 500 KV Yguazú – Valenzuela (ID 417537), which shall be financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (hereinafter, the “LPI”).
The LPI comprises the Project, detailed engineering and final design, that includes the supply of goods (equipment and materials) and the execution of works and put in service, in 2 Lots:
LOT 1: Extension of the Substation Yguazú
LOT 2: Construction of the Transmission Line of 500 kV Yguazú – Valenzuela.
It also includes the following works:
- Civil, electromechanical, and electrical works
- Finishing
- Commissioning (final tests)
- Put in service
The LPI provides the following deadlines for the completion of the works:

Total amount of the investment: USD 133,259,000.-
Awarding System: Per Lot
Amount of Lot 1: USD 8,025,000.-
Amount of Lot 2: USD 125,234,000.-
Bid Security: USD 80,250 for Lot 1 and USD 1,252,610 for Lot 2 (5% of the amount of the contract)
Performance Security: 10% of the amount of the contract
Amount of Advance Payment: 20% of the amount of the contract
