The Board of Directors of the National Commission of Competence (CONACOM) has decided, by Resolution D/AL N° 53/2022, enacted on date July 28 of the this year, the rejection of a summary opened by the Direction of Research of such institution, for alleged breach of a conditioning established within the framework of the concentration between Prosegur Paraguay S.A. and the company Wackenhut Paraguay S.A. (approved by Resolution D/AL N° 08/2018).
The partners Carla Sosa Martinez and Manuel Arias, jointly with the Senior Associate Andres Nasser and the Associate Manfredo Ramirez, have carried out successfully the legal advising to Prosegur Paraguay S.A. within the framework of the summary opened before the CONACOM, obtaining its rejection.
The resolution published by the CONACOM, substantiated its decision on the impossibility to prosecute Prosegur for the breach of the conditioning in question because it has corroborated that Prosegur, as demanded by the conditioning, has filed the required information, in due time and form as established in such conditioning.
